David Erskine, Managing Director


David is a seasoned sales leader with a track record of building high-producing telesales teams and consistently exceeding quota in both start-ups and large enterprises. He founded Inside Sales Mentor as a way to support sales executives at companies, both large and small, who need to optimize the performance of their inside sales teams and drive significant revenue growth.   

Key to the success of Inside Sales Mentor is the ability to assess a sales organization, identify areas for improvement, and devise actionable plans to achieve the needed improvement in team skill, efficiency, and overall performance, delivering measurable revenue results. As needed, we can build a team of contract telesales professionals to supplement an existing inside sales team and execute on specific projects.   

Prior to founding Inside Sales Mentor, David spent 13+ years at Autodesk as an inside sales leader. There, he led, coached and mentored a team of 15+ telesales reps focused on opportunity qualification, renewals, and account growth for SaaS offerings, including Buzzsaw and Constructware, as well as offerings in manufacturing and media/entertainment business segments. His notable achievements included reaching 120% of goal by delivering $20+M in revenue, surpassing his key strategic objectives for two consecutive years and exceeding quota for thirteen consecutive quarters.
